Alexander Ffinch is a master musician whose fingers play the organ just like those of a skilled conductor. Coming from a family famous for music, Alexander started playing organ and piano at the Royal College of Music as a child prodigy. His academic career took him to Oxford University where he received organ scholar, an award that gave him vast experience in teaching.
Having settled down in 1990s Lancaster, Alexander gained his reputation as a resident organist of the prestigious Town Hall where he performed over a hundred recitals and took hundreds of lessons from legendary musicians like Thomas Trotter. Having won first place in St Albans Interpretation Competition in 1999, Alexander reached another level in his career and since then he performed all around the world, UK, Europe, USA and Asia. Currently he is the College Organist at Cheltenham College.
